Who is Elecsa

ELECSA a governing body

What is ELECSA?

ELECSA operates competent person schemes on behalf of government to ensure that the contractors you employ are technically competent to carry out the work you want.
Elecsa is a regulatory body for electrical contractors.
Electricians registered with Elecsa are assessed on a regular basis to ensure high standards and there work is checked against the IET wiring regulations BS7671 as well as other standards.

For you the customer, Elecsa operates an independent complaints procedure that governs the technical standards of its approved Contractors and Part P Domestic Installer Schemes. If work is to be found below accepted technical standards then Elecsa can insist that the contractor corrects the work at no additional charge to you.

In addition to assuring the safety and competence of electrical work, Elecsa also guarantees electrical work will comply with building regulations plus it will provide you with an insurance backed warranty.

Elecsa’s mission is to maintain and promote the best industry practice that underlines the technical integrity of the work that there approved contractors carry out on behalf of their customers every day. More than 75% of Elecsa’s contractors are small, independent contractors who form part of the backbone of the UK economy, so it is vital that they gain the confidence and trust of the UK’s 60 million householders who depend upon their quality workmanship.

RJCElectrics are Registered with ELECSA.
